Delivery:
Delivery fee is $85.00, 3 miles or less from store location. $15.00 per extra mile; with a minimum order of $100.00, not including taxes. Invoices must be paid in FULL before delivery.
Additional charges apply based on mileage , drop off location, requiring steps ,elevators, delivery before or after normal business hours, holidays, narrow time windows, etc. A rental minimum also applies. Customer is responsible for order confirmation and accuracy upon delivery. Customer must notify Shelly's Party Rentals at the time of delivery if items are missing or damaged. Customer assumes all liability after Shelly's Party Rentals leaves the delivery site.
Pick up services are available Saturday 10:00 to 5:00 pm. Sunday 10:00 to 2:00 pm. Items should be cleaned and assembled in a single location as specified earlier . all china, silver, utensils, etc. should be rinsed, food-free , and repacked in the same container as delivered. Additional charges will apply for all boxes and crates that are not returned, breakage or loss and anything that requires excessive cleaning on our behalf. Linens should be dry and free of debris to prevent staining and mildew. Tables and chairs must be folded, stacked and ready for pick up unless Shelly's Party Rentals is contracted for set up and breakdown . Items not meeting these conditions are subject to additional fee .
In store pick up:
Rental items is available Tuesday-Saturday 10:00 am-5:00 pm, Sunday 10:00 am- 2:00 pm.A valid state I.D.[with picture, current address and credit card information must be presented upon pick up of rental items. Shelly's Party Rental will not release items to any individual who does not have the information requested. Customer must be 18 years old or older .
There is a $30 minimum for pick up orders.
Loss or Damage:
The customer retains full responsibility for rented equipment from the time of pickup or delivery to the time items are returned. Please be sure equipment is secure when not in use and protected from the weather. Additional charges will apply for missing, broken, burned or heavily damaged items. China, glassware, etc. will be considered broken if returned chipped. We do not rent china, glassware, etc, that is chipped, once it is chipped we discard it. If you discover a chipped or broken item when you unpack your order , please notify us at once so that we can promptly replace the item. If the rental equipment is not returned, it will be considered stolen and will be prosecuted under CA law.
Set up and break down:
Set up and break down service is available at a reasonable additional cos arranged in advance. If no arrangements are made and this service is desired on delivery , our driver must call for authorization and pricing. Customer can also call us for late set up and break down charges.
Deposit:
A credit card and government issued ID is required to rent and will be used as a form of deposit. Any loss/ damage will be automatically charged to the credit card.
Cancellations:
A 30 % fee will be charged for any cancellation made before the date of event. No money will be returned if any cancellations happen on the date of event, including pick ups or deliveries. We require a 30 % deposit or full payment, as we will not hold orders without them. Any remaining balance must be fulfilled before pick up or upon delivery or before the date of event. We reserve the right to cancel orders at any moment in the event of incoherences in payments, delivery address and other incidents. The amount to replace, fix, etc. of any party rental equipment damaged during the rental period will automatically be charged.
